
Darius Slay Jr. is an American football cornerback playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers as of November 2025. He was selected as the 36th overall pick in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions. In 2024, Slay and the Philadelphia Eagles won Super Bowl LIX.
He began his football journey at Brunswick High School in Brunswick, Georgia, where in addition to football, he also participated in basketball and track and field. After high school, he initially attended Itawamba Community College, but later transferred to Mississippi State University. He committed to playing college football for the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the alum had a stellar collegiate career.
