Born on December 8, 1981, Philip Rivers is a former American football quarterback. He played for 17 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), primarily with the Chargers franchise. He played college football at North Carolina State and was selected in the 2004 NFL Draft fourth overall by the New York Giants. The Giants then traded him to the San Diego Chargers (now Los Angeles Chargers) during the draft. Rivers played for 16 seasons with the Chargers and played his final season for the Indianapolis Colts.

Philip Rivers has been married to his wife, Tiffany Rivers, since 2001, and they share a beautiful life. She and her spouse both graduated from Athens High School, which is also where they originally got together. Tiffany and Philip grew up together and were both born and raised in Alabama. But they didn't start dating until middle school. The childhood sweethearts have 10 children together. Let us get to know all about Philip Rivers' children.

Philip and his wife Tiffany have 10 kids together - seven daughters, Halle, Caroline, Grace, Sarah, Rebecca, Clare, and Anna; and three sons, Gunner, Peter, and Andrew.

How are Philip and Tiffany Rivers raising their children?

Philip and Tiffany have been high-school as well as middle-school sweethearts. Rivers went to North Carolina State one year ahead of Tiffany, and the pair got married right after the quarterback's freshman year.

According to Rivers, when he was playing in the NFL, he had two distinct seasons as to when and how he interacted with his kids - football season and the offseason. Apparently, he picked the kids up from school during the offseason and took them to Little League practice. The focus shifted in the offseason. Rivers even tried to spend time with his kids when he could during the season. When he played on Sunday, he ate dinner with his family on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. He also read books to them or played with them in the yard. Monday is football night, which is another night that's important in the Rivers household.

They all gather around the TV with their plate of food to watch "Monday Night Football". The kids also tend to help Rivers to put things into perspective after a bad day at the office. Rivers' son Gunner (whose first name is also Philip), has said in an interview previously that he sits with his dad before games and talks about what the game plan is, and later discusses the game's big plays.

Rivers and his now three sons are still outnumbered by seven girls and Tiffany in the house, and that lopsided number won't flip even if there are to be more kids. Rivers is happy and content with just the way things are and acknowledges the fact that all of them are awesome in their own unique way.

What does Tiffany Rivers do for a living?

Tiffany has a swimwear line called Hermoza, along with running the household and managing her children. Tiffany and Philip also had a foundation called Rivers of Hope back in 2009, which aimed to find families for orphans up to the age of twelve. They used to organize a fun run every year to support their foundation.

However, as of 2013, the foundation no longer exists, and they also stopped organizing the 5K run. Later in 2019, Tiffany, along with her husband, announced the launch of a campaign named 'Change the Game', which aims to raise funds and awareness for Type 1 Diabetes. The campaign works in line with her swimwear brand Hermoza, which she co-founded with her partner Marissa DeLecce.
