Born on April 6, 2001, Oscar Jack Piastri is an Australian racing driver who competes in Formula One for the McLaren team. Before Formula One, Piastri held the championships for the 2021 FIA Formula 2, the 2020 FIA Formula 3, and the 2019 Formula Renault Eurocup, and is the only driver to win three championships consecutively directly under Formula One.

Piastri made his Formula One debut in 2023 at the Bahrain Grand Prix and was a member of the Alpine Academy from 2020 to 2021. He later signed with McLaren in 2023, partnering with Lando Norris, and won the 2024 constructors’ championship with McLaren. He has 46 entries in Formula One so far and has won six Grand Prix with 17 podiums to his name and four fastest laps. Before his McLaren days, Piastri was appointed as the Alpine F1 Team and McLaren's reserve driver for the 2022 Formula One season. Following a contractual dispute between Alpine and Piastri, Piastri replaced Daniel Ricciardo for the 2023 Formula One season.
