The Formula 1 2025 season will mark the 76th season of the FIA-sanctioned open-wheel racing series, Formula 1. The series features 10 teams and 20 drivers racing across various tracks across the world to claim the title. The Formula 1 championship title has given rise to many motorsport legends like Ayrton Senna, Lewis Hamilton, and Michael Schumacher.
The Formula 1 championship is known for its high speeds and close wheel-to-wheel battles on track. The V6 Hybrid engine-powered Formula 1 cars can reach speeds of more than 290 kph. The 2024 Formula 1 championship is scheduled to have 24 different races. Every Formula 1 team is permitted to have two drivers during each race. The team may change their drivers based on mutual decisions and contracts. They can also substitute an injured/ sick driver if the need arises.
