Gabriel Bortoleto is a Brazilian Formula 1 driver who will drive for the Kick Sauber Formula 1 team for the 2025 season. He was born on October 14, 2004, in Sau Paulo, Brazil. To pursue his dream as a racing driver, he started racing karts at the age of six. At age 12, he moved to Europe with his parents. In 2020, Bortoleto got his first chance to debut in the Italian F4 Championship, where he scored his first podium at Mugello. From 2021 to 2022, he drove in F4 and Formula Regional races until signed by Fernando Alonso’s A14 management company.

Under Fernando Alonso’s mentorship, he made his official debut in Formula 3 with MP Motorsport in 2022 and finished 15th at the end of the season. In 2023, he won the Formula 3 Driver’s title and clinched his first major trophy win by the FIA. Later, in 2024, he joined Invicta Racing and won the Formula 2 Driver’s Championship title. As of March 2025, he is contracted to drive for the Kick Sauber F1 team.
