Nico Hulkenberg is a German racing driver currently driving for the Haas F1 Team in Formula One. He was born on August 19, 1987, in Emmerich am Rhein, Germany. Hulkenberg began karting at 10 and rose his way through the motorsport ladder within a short period. In 2002, he was declared the German Junior Karting Champion and became the German Kart Champion the following year. He became the title holder in his debut season in Formula BMW in 2005. Hulkenberg began his Formula One career with Williams in 2010, and he notably took the team's first pole position in five years during the Brazilian Grand Prix.
