American running back Jase McClellan is a professional football player. After completing NCAA football at the Alabama Crimson Tide, he was drafted by the National Football League (NFL) Atlanta Falcons. McClellan went to Aledo High School in Aledo, Texas. Throughout his career, he rushed for 6,468 yards and scored 122 touchdowns. In 2020, he was selected to play in the Under Armour All-American Game. McClellan had committed to the University of Oklahoma to play college football, but changed his mind and decided to go to the University of Alabama.
While still a true freshman at Alabama, McClellan went 23 times for 245 yards and tw

After being drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the sixth round (186th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft, McClellan inked a four-year rookie contract worth about $3.98 million. During his first year, he appeared in two games for the Falcons and managed to gain 32 yards on 13 carries.
Following his release from Atlanta in June 2025, McClellan penned a $960,000 one-year deal with the Buccaneers in August 2025, thus providing them with additional running back depth. Nevertheless, on August 24, 2025, Tampa Bay decided to let him go. As of November 2025, he remains a free agent who has not been signed.
