
Alex Michael Caruso is a point guard/shooting guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA as of December 2025. After going undrafted in 2016, Caruso joined the Philadelphia 76ers for the 2016 NBA Summer League. He was signed by the Oklahoma City Thunder in September but was waived just a month later. Caruso then signed with the Los Angeles Lakers for the 2017 Summer League. Due to his performances, the Lakers signed Caruso to a two-way contract. In the 2019-20 off-season, Caruso signed a two-year, $5.5 million deal with the Lakers. He is notable for helping the Lakers win the championship in 2020. In 2021 Chicago Bulls signed Alex Caruso to a four-year contract.

Alex Caruso was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder in June 2024, and he won the NBA title with the team in his first season with them. In December 2024, Caruso agreed to a four-year extension with the Thunder for the period 2025-28.
