The Phoenix Suns turned a close game into a 132-108 rout of the LA Lakers on Tuesday. After leading 67-57 at halftime, the home team went ahead 99-72 halfway through the third quarter. Dillon Brooks, who was ejected in the Suns' last meeting against the Lakers about 10 days ago, scored 12 points in the third frame.

Six Suns players hit double-digit scoring, including the entire starting unit. Devin Booker finished with 21 points, 11 assists, two steals and two rebounds. Brooks ended up with 25 points on 10-for-15 shooting.

The Lakers welcomed Austin Reaves, who missed the past three games with a left calf strain, back. The team, though, could not overcome the absence of Luka Doncic (leg), Rui Hachimura (groin) and Gabe Vincent (back).

LeBron James finished with 23 points, 18 coming in the first half, to lead the Lakers.

The LA Lakers capped off a four-game road swing with a showdown against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday. LA, which edged the home team 116-114 in a controversial game on Sunday, looked to take a 2-1 series lead with another victory. The Lakers entered the game without Luka Doncic, Rui Hachimura and Gabe Vincent.

The Lakers and the Suns went back and forth in the first quarter behind balanced attacks from both teams. LeBron James had four points but went 1-for-4 with three assists. Deandre Ayton contributed six points and four rebounds.

Devin Booker led the Suns with seven points, two assists and two steals.

James dropped 14 points in the second quarter to help carry the Lakers. LA's six turnovers, three from Austin Reaves, badly hampered the Lakers. Phoenix's balanced attack continued, a key reason it led 67-57 at halftime.

Dillon Brooks led Phoenix's decisive surge in the third quarter with 12 points. The Suns dropped a season-high 45 points in the period. The Suns made 12 of 18 shots, 5 of 6 from 3-point distance, to lead 112-86 after three quarters.

The LA Lakers waved the white flag early in the fourth quarter. JJ Redick inserted his second stringers as the Phoenix Suns marched to a 132-108 win.
