ICC T20 World Cup 2024 Schedule

The T20 World Cup schedule for 2024 was announced earlier in January this year by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and will feature a total of twenty teams.

T20 World Cup 2024 Start Date

The T20 World Cup 2024 commences on June 2 between the North American nations of the United States of America and Canada, with the co-hosts USA hosting the Maple Leafers at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Dallas. This will also mark the T20 World Cup debut of these two nations.

T20 World Cup 2024 Groups

Unlike the previous edition, the mega event would be competed between twenty teams, split into four groups of five teams for the group stage and the top two teams from each group will qualify for the second round of Super Eight. The Super Eight will have eight teams divided into two groups and the top two teams from each group will battle it out in the semifinals.

T20 World Cup 2024 Hosts

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 is all set to happen in the West Indies and the United States of America. While the mega event is hosted for the second time in the Caribbean (previously held in 2010), co-hosts United States of America are hosting it for the first time.

T20 World Cup 2024 Venues

Nine venues have been announced for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 across the West Indies and the United States of America. The venues are Arnos Vale Ground, Arnos Vale, in St. Vincent; Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago, Central Broward Park and Broward County Stadium, Lauderhill in Florida; Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet in St. Lucia; Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Dallas; Kensington Oval, Bridgetown in Barbados; Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York; Providence Stadium in Guyana and Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound in Antigua.

T20 World Cup 2024 Knockouts

The semifinals will be hosted at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago and the Providence Stadium in Guyana. The final will be hosted at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados on June 29 and it would be exciting to see which of the twenty teams will lift the trophy in the Caribbean on that day.
