Nico Hulkenberg is a German racing driver for Kick Sauber in Formula One. He has represented Williams, Force India, Sauber, Renault, Racing Point, Aston Martin, Haas, and Kick Sauber in his career, which began in 2010. Hulkenberg is teaming up with rookie Gabriel Bortoleto at Kick Sauber for 2025.
At the age of 10, Hülkenberg made his karting debut in 1997. He won the German Kart Championship the next year after winning the German Junior Karting Championship in 2002. In 2005, Hülkenberg made his début in Formula BMW for Germany, easily winning the championship. For the 2006–07 season, Hülkenberg joined the German A1 Grand Prix team. He became the most successful driver in A1GP history with nine victories in his debut season. After A1GP, Hulkenberg drove in Formula 3 and then GP2 before he made his debut in the Formula 1 circuit.
