The Paris Masters, popularly known as Rolex Paris masters is an annual tennis tournament for male professional players held in Paris, France. The French Covered Court Championships were the name of the championship when it was first held in 1968. The tournament is a part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Tour's Masters 1000 schedule. The French Covered Court Championships served as the foundation for the title. The tournament is usually the ninth and the final Masters event on the circuit before the season-ending ATP Finals. The title was formally named the BNP Paribas Masters from 2003 through 2016 due to sponsorship, then as the Rolex Paris Masters starting in 2017.
Venues and Dates
The tournament will be played on the hard surfaces of AccorHotels Arena in Paris, France. Accor Arena is an indoor sports arena and concert hall located in the neighbourhood of Bercy, on boulevard de Bercy, in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, France. The tournament was held in the Stade Pierre de Coubertin until 1982 before moving to the AccorHotels Arena.
Since 2009, the tournament is the only Masters 1000 tournament that has been played indoors. The dates are scheduled from 29 October 2022 to 06 November 2022.
