Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are Hyderabad-based franchise side competing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) since 2013. They have won the IPL crown once, as of May 2025. They have reached the IPL summit clash three times and will be hoping to win their second title in four final appearances in the IPL 2025.
After a sequence of underwhelming seasons in the IPL, SRH finally came into their own last summer owing to their power-packed opening duo of Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head and middle-order enforcer Heinrich Klaasen. SRH began their IPL 2025 campaign at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on March 23. They defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 44 runs in their campaign opener. Before the IPL 2025 was suspended due to cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan, SRH were set to play three more IPL 2025 games. But, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the revised schedule of the remainder of the IPL 2025 matches.
