Lakers fans are taking a keen interest in Tuesday's matchup as LeBron James could make his much-awaited season debut. For the first time in the 2025-26 campaign, head coach JJ Redick could start James alongside Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, and newly acquired center Deandre Ayton.
The Lakers have won three of their last four games. This past Saturday, they defeated Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks by a 119-95 score.

Georges Niang (foot) and Walker Kessler (shoulder) are confirmed to be out for the Jazz. Utah's frontcourt could be further compromised, as Kyle Filipowski has been listed as questionable due to wrist issues. Taylor Hendricks (hamstring) and Kyle Anderson (back) are also questionable.
Aside from James being upgraded to questionable after his week-long battle with sciatica, Gabe Vincent (ankle) has also been ruled questionable for the Lakers.
