The Sacramento Kings have struggled in the early going of this season, and key players like Domantas Sabonis might soon find themselves on the trading block. Sabonis has spent three years with the Kings, and though he's had a taste of playoff action, he has not been able to make it past the first round.
Now, reports are emerging about multiple teams taking an interest in the three-time All-Star, despite his scoring production dropping from 19.1 points per game last season to 15.3 this season. Here are five destinations where Sabonis could end up before the trade deadline.

There's no telling how long Steph Curry and Draymond Green will continue to play together. If the Golden State Warriors are looking for younger assets that have already established themselves to an extent, the 29-year-old Sabonis makes plenty of sense.
From a scoring standpoint, he would be one of the most talented centers to enter Steve Kerr's system in quite a while.
Portland Trail Blazers

Few would have expected the Portland Trail Blazers to secure an above-.500 record and be in the thick of things this early in the 2025-26 campaign.
If the Blazers want to make an even more serious push to reach the postseason, getting Sabonis would fill a talent void at the center position. Plus, they have some draft assets that could interest Sacramento.
Detroit Pistons

Another up-and-coming team that would benefit from acquiring Sabonis is Detroit. Jalen Duren is reportedly not getting an extension, which means the Pistons could be looking for their next big man to play alongside Cade Cunningham.
The extremely skilled Sabonis should have no problem catching lobs and drop passes from the former top overall pick.
LA Clippers

The LA Clippers have some contract issues they need to resolve, including John Collins' expiring contract and the situation with Bradley Beal, who is set to miss the rest of the season.
Throwing in a future first-round pick or two could sweeten the pot for Sacramento and would allow the Clippers to field a formidable frontcourt duo of Sabonis and Ivica Zubac.
Boston Celtics

At this point, any move the Boston Celtics make would have to be a delayed gratification play while they wait for Jayson Tatum to get healthy. The acquisition of Sabonis would give the Celtics’ fanbase reason to hope the team will return to contention sooner rather than later.
