The Spurs will start Devin Vassell and Stephon Castle in the backcourt. Meanwhile, Julian Champagnie will join power forward Harrison Barnes, alongside center Victor Wembanyama.

The Lakers will start Luka Doncic at point guard and Marcus Smart at shooting guard. Jake LaRavia, Rui Hachimura and Deandre Ayton will complete the frontcourt.

San Antonio Spurs injury report
The Spurs will be without De'Aaron Fox, Dylan Harper and Luke Kornet. Fox is recovering from a hamstring strain and has yet to make his season debut. Harper is out with a left calf strain, which he sustained on Sunday against the Suns. Kornet has an ankle injury.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Sochan, Kelly Olynyk and Lindy Waters III are all available. All three will make their season debut after initially being listed as questionable. Sochan was out with a wrist injury while Olynyk was recovering from heel surgery. Waters had an eye injury.
LA Lakers injury report
The Lakers have ruled out LeBron James, Gabe Vincent, Maxi Kleber and Adou Thiero. James has sciatica, Vincent is nursing an ankle sprain, Kleber has an abdominal strain and Thiero is ramping up from a knee injury.
Austin Reaves is also out with a groin issue, while Jaxson Hayes is available after being listed as probable due to an ankle injury he sustained on Monday against Portland.
Meanwhile, Luka Doncic is available after missing the Portland game, citing injury management.
