The Sacramento Kings continue their three-game road trip on Saturday with a stop at the Kaseya Center to face the Miami Heat. It’s their first matchup of the season, with both teams looking to bounce back and get back in the win column.
The Heat are coming off a tough 106–105 loss to the Orlando Magic, while the Kings were handed a decisive 121–95 defeat by the Houston Rockets. Miami (14–9) slipped to sixth in the East after the loss, and Sacramento (5–17) remains 14th in the West.

After a 1-4 start to the season, the Sacramento Kings dropped 12 of their 16 games in November and enter this matchup riding a four-game losing streak.
Their struggles show on both ends of the floor. The Kings have the second-worst offense in the league at just 111.0 points per game, and their defense hasn’t fared any better, allowing 122.8 points per game, 27th in the NBA.
Zach LaVine has served as the Kings' best scorer, averaging 19.8 points per game. While DeMar DeRozan has been thier most consistent star with the forward starting all 22 games while recording 18.1 points and 3.4 assists per game.
On the other hand, the Miami Heat opened the season strong but have now dropped three of their last four games. Even so, they’ve firmly established themselves as one of the top contenders in the East.
Their positive run this season has been due to their exciting offense, which ranks second in the NBA, averaging 122.8 points per game. They also generate the second-most scoring opportunities in the league. However, their defense has been a letdown, giving up 117.9 points per game, 21st in the NBA.
Norman Powell has been their best performer this season, averaging 25.0 points per game. Meanwhile, Tyler Herro has performed well since returning from injury, averaging 23.8 points and 4.6 rebounds in five games.
In terms of injuries, both teams could miss key players during the matchup. Sacramento will miss Dennis Schroder and Domantas Sabonis, while the Heat could be without Tyler Herro, who is listed as questionable.
