Giannis Antetokounmpo sparked a social media frenzy after deleting the majority of Milwaukee Bucks-related posts on his accounts. Trade speculation surrounding Antetokounmpo is heating up, with the San Antonio Spurs reportedly among the teams pursuing him in an attempt to pair him with Victor Wembanyama.

According to Ashish Mathur of Dallas Hoops Journal, the Spurs and New York Knicks are two teams expected to "aggressively" pursue the two-time NBA MVP. Both teams were linked to Antetokounmpo last summer, though the Knicks appeared to be his preferred destination.

Mathur added that one reason the Spurs held off on pursuing Kevin Durant was to save their best assets for "The Greek Freak."

The New York Knicks have a big market that could benefit Giannis Antetokounmpo off the court. However, the Knicks don't have a big haul of assets that could convince the Milwaukee Bucks to trade Antetokounmpo there. They have a depleted stock of draft picks, and their roster lacks top prospects.

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs have a lot of draft picks, which would likely be the starting point of a rebuild project for the Bucks. The Spurs also boast a handful of young players like Stephon Castle, Dylan Harper, Carter Bryant, Jeremy Sochan and Devin Vassell.

The Spurs won't trade all of their young assets since the money still needs to work. If they can land Antetokounmpo, he will form a formidable partnership with Victor Wembanyama and De'Aaron Fox.

Antetokounmpo suffered a leg injury early in the first quarter. He was diagnosed with a right calf strain and was ruled out for the rest of the game, as per Jamal Collier of ESPN.

"The Greek Freak" had to be helped off by his teammates back to the bench before going to the locker room. He finished with just two points, one rebound and one assist. The Bucks entered the game 11th in the East at 9-13.
