Looking at his last game, Richard added five points, one rebound, one assist and one steal. He made both of his shot attempts, scoring one 3-pointer and one basket inside the arc.

Fast forward to Thursday, Will Richard checked in late in the first quarter. While he didn't contribute much, Jimmy Butler did everything he could to keep the game within reach for Golden State. Butler scored nine points, keeping the game within four points. Denver came up with a 31-27 lead.

Steph Curry leads Warriors to second consecutive victory

The Golden State Warriors have been on a roll to start their season. They opened their season with a bang after beating Luka Doncic and the LA Lakers. Golden State then followed it up with a victory over Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets. Beating two of the toughest teams in the Western Conference in two consecutive games should give the Warriors a huge confidence booster early in the year.

Steph Curry put up crazy numbers to lead his Golden State team to victory. Curry added 42 points, seven asssists, six rebounds, three steals and one block. His efforts were enough to best Aaron Gordon's 50-point outing for the Nuggets.

With the Warriors starting strong, they should have no problem going up against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday, especially since their team is going through a rough patch at the moment. The Blazers' head coach, Chauncey Billups, got involved in illegal gambling, which led to his arrest on Thursday. We're not entirely sure how it's affecting their team at the moment.
