Trouble knocked at Iman Shumpert's door last week when local authorities visited his Atlanta home. The officers arrived at the former Nets player's house to diffuse an alleged verbal altercation between Shumpert and a woman named Joanna Donnejour.
Donnejour had claimed that Shumpert hit her and wanted to press charges against the former hooper. According to a report TMZ obtained regarding the Nov. 26 incident, the officers were dispatched to Shumpert's Atlanta house around 4:37 a.m.
The officers saw Iman Shumpert placing a suitcase outside his house when they arrived. A witness from the scene said that a verbal altercation did take place between Iman Shumpert and Donnejour, but there was no physical assault involved.
Donnejour told the cops that following the verbal altercation, Shumpert removed her from the room by dragging her by her wrist and foot towards the stairs. The witness from the scene said that Shumpert had asked Donnejour to leave his property multiple times before removing her physically in a non-aggressive manner.

"Last week, I had friends over and a visitor at my residence was politely asked to leave several times after I witnessed her damaging personal property," Shumpert told TMZ. "The police were called, invited inside and they spoke with multiple people who saw what happened. After assessing the situation, the police instructed her to leave repeatedly."
The incident allegedly began when Donnejour found Shumpert talking with another woman while another woman was in the room. In the Police's body cam footage, Donnejour revealed that Shumpert was the one who lost his cool and started the argument.
The matter was closed quickly on the same night after the authorities concluded their investigation lacked evidence to press charges. The officers found no bruises or markings on Donnejour's body, and a witness from the scene had a statement against her claims.
