Carmelo Anthony is arguably the best offensive player to have not won a ring in his career. The NY Knicks icon was one of the finest scorers the league had seen in the past two decades. He had a signature move, the jab step, that was practically unguardable when Melo executed it.

However, despite having these lethal weapons in his arsenal, Melo failed to win a championship with any of the teams he played for. He played for the Knicks during his prime years, with legendary coach Phil Jackson leading the franchise from an executive position.

In his upcoming book, "Masters of the Game", Jackson blamed Carmelo Anthony for his trophy-less tenure in New York. However, Melo did not receive the news. On Monday's episode of the "7PM in Brooklyn" podcast, the Knicks icon clapped back at Jackson's statements.

"I'm sick of these folks, man," Melo said. "We was the laughingstock of the NBA for being in the triangle, and I had to fight that. I had to take those bullets. Not you, Phil Jackson. While I'm taking those bullets, you're up in the stands, tweeting, talking about Melo breaking the triangle." (Timestamp: 40:41)

Later, the Knicks icon told Jackson that if he thought of him as a hindrance, he should have called him in his office and had a man-to-man conversation instead of showing him clips of Michael Jordan playing in the triangle offense and telling him what not to do in the offensive system.

"Clear out all the nonsense": Carmelo Anthony speaks his mind on interviewing Nikola Jokic

The Denver Nuggets secured a win against the 127-114 against the Timberwolves on Oct. 27. However, the highlight of the night came during a postgame interview on Peacock's "NBA Showtime". Carmelo Anthony briefly interviewed Nikola Jokic, and the two Nuggets stars had a conversation after an awkward introduction.

On Monday's episode of his podcast, Anthony opened up about interviewing Jokic. He called the Nuggets superstar one of the greatest players of all time and called out the fans for misinterpreting his intentions towards him.

"It was cool. You can't take away what I did in Denver. This is a whole new thing," Melo saiid. "He [Nikola Jokic] is one of the greatest players of all time, but I think the narrative could get misconstrued."

Kazeem Famuyide, Melo's co-host for the episode, blamed the fans for pushing the narrative of Carmelo Anthony not liking Nikola Jokic because he wore the same jersey number as him. In his response, the Knicks icon gave his take on the narrative.

"I have never said that," Melo said. "I don't have no qualms or issues with Joker like I was excited to interview him... It was just all love and I am glad that I am on this side now where I can give you respect and you can respect me and clear out all the nonsense and bulls*** that's in the middle."

The segment ended on a light note with everyone on the panel laughing.
