The "Fire Nico" chants continued in the Dallas Mavericks' home loss against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday, Nov. 11. During the game, Mavericks fans once again voiced out their frustration with the team after Dallas failed to escape with the win in the fourth quarter. Dallas general manager Nico Harrison was in attendance to witness the game as fans captured his stoic reactions on the loud "Fire Nico" chants during the fourth quarter of the game against the Bucks. During the game, the Mavericks missed the services of Anthony Davis due to a right calf strain. Davis was the team's biggest acquisition from the controversial Luka Doncic trade, a decision made by Harrison. Against the Bucks, the Davis-less Dallas allowed Giannis Antetokounmpo to score 15 of his 30 total points in the fourth quarter to lead Milwaukee in the road victory.The Mavericks had a chance to force overtime but PJ Washington missed two of his three free throws in the waning seconds, costing them the game.The loss put the Mavericks at a 3-8 record, the second-worst record in the Western Conference. The team has also lost five of its last six games. Rookie Cooper Flagg, who was the top pick in the 2025 NBA draft, showed glimpses of brilliance against the Bucks, putting up 26 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field, nine rebounds, and four assists. Meanwhile, when Cooper Flagg was asked about the external noise about the team's performance, he preached focus. "All I can do is keep working, keep showing up, keep getting in the gym, trusting the reps, trusting the work,” Flagg said. The Mavericks will play their next three games at their home floor. Next up for them is the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
