LeBron James brought back his iconic celebration after hitting a dagger against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday at Xfinity Mobile Arena. James turned back the clock to lead the LA Lakers to an impressive win. He also broke his Philly jinx as a member of the purple and gold franchise.

With less than 30 seconds left in the game and the Lakers up 108-105, James had the ball on the elbow against Quentin Grimes. He tried to drive past Grimes before hitting a step-back jump shot to give his team a five-point advantage with 27.4 seconds left.

After making the tough fadeaway, James used two of his popular celebrations. He crowned himself while looking at the Philly crowd before returning to the Lakers' bench with "The Silencer." He was mobbed by his teammates, who were pumped for the 23-year veteran.

LeBron James finished with 29 points, seven rebounds and six assists. It was his best game of the season after showing signs of his age since dealing with sciatica in the offseason. He scored 10 of the last 12 points for the LA Lakers to help earn their 17th win of the campaign.

Sportskeeda's Arhaan Raje reported that the Lakers are 0-6 on the road against the Sixers during the LeBron James era. They hadn't won a game in Philly since James signed in the summer of 2018, so "The King" decided enough was enough and broke the jinx.

James needed to step up since Austin Reaves was struggling all game long. Luka Doncic scored the final two points, knocking down two free throws to seal the victory.

Speaking to Spectrum SportsNet's Mike Trudell after the game, LeBron James said that he felt good before the game. He also knew that Austin Reaves had been working overtime in the past few games and would likely slow down, while Luka Doncic was coming off the West Coast to rejoin the team.

"The King" was then asked about his celebrations after hitting the dagger fadeaway. He acknowledged that it was his first time using both "The Silencer" and "The Crown" together.

"I kinda, I meshed it for the first time in my life," James said.

The Lakers are back at home for their next game on Wednesday. They are welcoming the San Antonio Spurs for a quarterfinal matchup in the 2025 Emirates NBA Cup.
