Heat coach Erik Spoelstra faced an unfortunate situation on Thursday morning after his house in Miami was burned down by vicious fire. The incident was reported at 4:36 am, according to the Miami-Dade County fire officials. Spoelstra wasn't home when the fire broke out. According to officials, no immediate injuries have been reported.The two-time NBA champion coach was with the Heat team, returning from a trip to Denver on their charter flight, which landed at 5:11 am. Officials confirmed it was a "partial collapse" and they were investigating the cause of the fire. The officials added that they contained the blaze within three hours despite smoke rising from parts of the damaged property.According to reports obtained by ESPN, Erik Spoelstra bought the five-bedroom, six-bathroom Coral Gables-based home in December 2023. There's no information available on whether Spoelstra stays alone or with more family members at that home.Erik Spoelstra is single after he and his ex-wife, Nikki Spoelstra, confirmed their divorce in November 2023.
