Draymond Green's future with the Golden State Warriors reportedly depends on Giannis Antetokounmpo. According to a bombshell claim by Jake Fischer, the Warriors won't hesitate to move their Green for Antetokounmpo. He's the only player they are willing to trade their second-longest tenured veteran for.
Here's what the NBA insider reported on Wednesday:
"The only player I think in the league that Golden State would be willing to move Draymond Green for would be Giannis Antetokounmpo. That’s the only player.
"Between him and Jonathan Kuminga and Brandin Podziemski, all of a sudden Golden State probably does have an intriguing package if you're Milwaukee. But I don't think that they are going to be pushing Draymond's salary onto the table — or Jimmy Butler’s salary — for anyone short of him."

The Warriors have been searching for a future franchise centerpiece and someone who can share the burden with Curry. They acquired Jimmy Butler at the last trade deadline, but that move worked out briefly. Golden State finished last season on a 22-6 run after Butler's debut.
This year, they are 13-12. Butler has meshed well, but he isn't performing at an All-Star caliber level as a secondary scorer. Giannis Antetokounmpo has been a heavily rumored target for the Joe Lacob-owned franchise, and if they are indeed ready to include Draymond Green in a package, Golden State might be able to work out a deal.
Giannis Antetokounmpo to Warriors trade can only happen if he desires a move to the Bay Area
A Giannis Antetokounmpo trade will likely be based on the two-time MVP's preferred landing spots. The Bucks will prefer a lucrative package either way, but won't pull off a move without the superstar's permission. According to trade rumors, Antetokounmpo has expressed a wish to go to the Knicks.
The Bucks even talked to New York in the summer, but a deal never materialized. The Knicks remain one of the most talked-about trade destinations for the two-time MVP, but there's been no traction towards it. New York has the players and contracts, but lacks the picks the Bucks would desire in an Antetokounmpo trade.
Milwaukee would likely prefer to rebuild if it trades its superstar and the best way to do that would be to get a package with a blue-chip prospect or two, along with attractive draft capital. Several teams can outbid the Warriors in the Antetokounmpo sweepstakes, but if he prefers to move there, the Bucks may comply with his request.
The Warriors have three picks, Draymond Green, Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody and Brandin Podziemski to offer in a trade.
