Vanessa Bryant and Magic Johnson’s wife, Cookie Johnson, were in attendance for the LA Dodgers’ close win against the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday. The Dodgers won 6-5, as Shohei Ohtani recorded two home runs, two doubles and five walks.
But it was Freddie Freeman who put the Blue Jays to rest, hitting a walk-off home run during the 18th inning to bring the matchup to an end. The game was an instant classic that saw fans’ emotions run high throughout the night.
Vanessa Bryant perfectly captured this as she shared a photo of Cookie Johnson on her Instagram story. In the picture, Johnson can be seen joining her hands and closing her eyes as she prays for a win. Bryant echoed her sentiment, saying:

Bryant also highlighted Freddie Freeman’s performance, sharing a picture of him and Ohtani celebrating Monday’s win.
Following their win on Monday, the Dodgers have established a 2-1 lead in the World Series and are two wins away from capturing the title. Should they succeed, this will mark the team’s third World Series win in the last five years. They also won the title in 2024 and 2020.

Bryant celebrated the Dodgers’ NLCS win, sharing pictures with Freddie Freeman's wife, Chelsea Freeman, Candace Parker, and her daughters, Bianka and Capri Bryant.
Bryant’s attachment to the Dodgers is easy to understand, considering her late husband, Kobe Bryant, was a big fan of the team. In August, the team honored Bryant by distributing the LA Lakers legend's bobbleheads at Dodger Stadium.
The Dodgers will return to action on Tuesday for Game 4 of the World Series at Dodger Stadium, another game that is likely to be attended by Bryant.
