Tyrese Maxey and the Philadelphia 76ers lost to the Detroit Pistons on Sunday. He spoke to the media after the game where he admitted to the Sixers’ locker room’s reaction to Pistons guard Cade Cunningham‘s heroics.Maxey asserted that the Sixers did not follow the game plan last night against Cunningham. The Pistons’ star finished the night with 26 points, 11 assists and four rebounds, fueling Detroit to its sixth straight win.“We actually started the third quarter pretty good,” Maxey said. “We were on a couple of runs, made them call a timeout, and then just went downhill from there. It's like sometimes we can't get a rhythm in the third quarter, and we got to do a better job of that.”“Yeah, we didn't follow the game plan after halftime. You know what I'm saying? There was a couple of times he [Cade Cunningham] got loose, and when a good player gets loose, they see a couple go in, then we know how that goes. So, we played well. I think our guys did a decent job on them, especially early in the game.”The Sixers lost 111-108 to the Pistons. This was their third loss in five games, with Detroit holding on to win their sixth consecutive game. Tyrese Maxey ended the contest with a game-high 33 points, four rebounds and seven assists.The Sixers struggled to contain Pistons star Cade Cunningham after halftime. They were also unable to execute on the final possession. However, they started the third against Detroit on a good note, building their lead up to double digits, but the Pistons kept chipping away.
