Toronto Raptors vs. Miami Heat Preview
The Toronto Raptors have been one of the early surprises of the season, currently sitting fifth in the Eastern Conference with a 15-11 record. The frontcourt duo of Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram is responsible for most of that success, averaging a combined 41.3 points, 13.6 rebounds, and 9.1 assists per game.
However, that momentum has slowed in recent games. The Raptors head to Miami on a four-game skid after home defeats against the LA Lakers, Charlotte Hornets, Boston Celtics, and New York Knicks, losing by an average differential of 13.0 points per game.
Miami finds itself in a very similar position. The Heat sit just one place below Toronto in the East with a 14-11 record and also come into Monday’s matchup on a four-game skid.
Norman Powell’s transition to his new team has been one of the Heat's positive takeaways. The combo guard wasted no time finding his rhythm, leading the team with 24.6 points per game.

Toronto Raptors vs. Miami Heat Prediction
The Heat and the Raptors have had similarly strong seasons, and this matchup is expected to be closely contested. However, Miami is favored to come out on top, especially with Tyler Herro expected to play after a two-game absence. The team performs noticeably better with him on the floor, and his presence could prove to be the key difference.
Prediction: Expect the Heat to win by five points.
