The Duke Blue Devils vs. Michigan State Spartans game on Saturday got heated as the home fans started a disrespectful chant for Duke freshman Cam Boozer. The fans were heard chanting "F*** Cam Boozer" repeatedly.

New Orleans Pelicans rookie Jeremiah Fears' brother, Jeremy Fears, was enjoying every moment of the chant. The Michigan State guard was seen hyping up the crowd in a clip posted on X after the game.

However, the Blue Devils secured a 66-60 win over the Spartans despite the great support from the home crowd. Boozer channeled the disrespect into his game and finished with 18 points, 15 rebounds and five assists, while Fears finished with six points, two rebounds and 13 assists.

The fans online were amused by the incident and flooded the comments section with their opinions.

Cam Boozer shows confidence in his teammates after securing road win over Michigan State

Cam Boozer arrived at Duke as one of the highly sought-after talents in the nation. Cooper Flagg's departure from the Blue Devils had left Duke in a vulnerable place with a big hole to fill on their roster.

Boozer has shown the potential to step into Flagg's shoes and lead the Blue Devils. After securing a win over Michigan State on the road, the former Bulls star's son expressed confidence in his teammates in a postgame interview.

"We got weapons," Boozer said. "We've got guys at every position that can shoot, drive, and pass. Yeah, I've got to make the right play every time, and I know guys are going to find me.
