The Phoenix Suns were glad to have Jalen Green back on the floor. Unfortunately for the Western Conference team, the explosive guard suited up for only two games before re-aggravating his hamstring injury. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Green is expected to miss at least four to six weeks due to a right hamstring strain.There was a lot of positive expectation for the Suns' newest backcourt. With Devin Booker's elite scoring and Green's explosiveness, fans were looking forward to a new era in Phoenix. The former Houston Rockets guard missed the first eight games of the 2025-26 NBA season as he recovered from a hamstring strain.He made his debut on Nov. 6 against the LA Clippers. In that game, Green had 29 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals. The scoring guard shot 46.2% from beyond the arc, helping the Suns capture a 115-102 win. His next game was also against the Clippers. However, he was limited to just six minutes of action.Green had to leave the game due to the re-aggravated injury and finished with two points, one rebound and one assist.Jalen Green was acquired by the Suns last summer after they traded star forward Kevin Durant. His teammates were also eager to have him on the floor. After the team's back-to-back wins against the Clippers, star guard Devin Booker was asked about his teammate's injury.According to the former Kentucky player, he empathizes with Green and offers his support amid his recovery."It's tough. I've definitely been through it," Booker said. "We're going to rally around him. He's been putting in a lot of work to get back on the court."His debut the other night, so there is some good in there. We've seen a small glimpse of it with us all together, but priority is make sure he's healthy and for sure fully ready to go next time."In Jalen Green's absence, Grayson Allen will have more time on the floor. On Monday, Allen stepped up and posted a career-high 42 points against the New Orleans Pelicans. He also made 10 of 15 attempts from 3-point range.Until Green can return, the Suns will rely on Booker and the rest of the team to step up. Phoenix's next game will be on Wednesday against the Dallas Mavericks.
