Stephen Curry has delivered plenty of iconic moments throughout his NBA career, but his look-away three-pointer is easily one of his most famous. On Saturday, former teammate Dennis Schroder pulled off the move for the first time and earned a four-word stamp of approval from Curry himself.

Reacting to the clip of Schroder executing the move against the Nuggets, Curry dropped a four-word reaction.

"Freeeeeeze!!! I love it," Curry wrote.

Curry’s reaction came after Schroder tagged him in an Instagram Story, celebrating his own no-look three-pointer against the Denver Nuggets.

Schroder pulled off Curry’s signature move during the Kings’ 128-123 win over the Nuggets, a game that marked just Sacramento’s third victory of the season. The German spent the latter half of 2024 with the Golden State Warriors after being traded by the Brooklyn Nets.

During his stint there, Schroder played 24 games, making 18 starts while averaging 10.6 points and 4.4 assists per game. However, his stint in the Bay Area was short-lived, as he was traded to the Detroit Pistons in early February as part of a five-team deal that brought Jimmy Butler to Golden State.

Despite his brief stint with the Warriors, Schroder clearly picked up a few things from Steph Curry. He nailed Curry’s signature move to perfection and even got a thumbs-up from the Warriors superstar afterward.

The German guard returned to California in the offseason, signing with the Sacramento Kings. He’s been an integral part of the team so far, averaging 12.8 points and 5.8 assists while appearing in all 17 games.

Former teammate gives honest take on Stephen Curry entering sneaker free agency

Stephen Curry's former teammate, Kevin Durant, offered his candid views on Stephen Curry entering sneaker free agency on Saturday. Curry ended his 13-year partnership with Under Armour earlier this month, drawing the attention of many.

His former Warriors teammate Kevin Durant was among those who reacted, offering an honest take and discussing a possible return to Nike.

"That would be incredible, I hope that happens." Durant said. "No disrespect to Under Armour but he should have always been a Nike athlete," Durant said.

Curry was a Nike athlete before signing with Under Armour in 2013. The Warriors guard went on to build the Curry Brand with the company, but he is expected to take full control of his own brand after their partnership ends in 2026.

Several brands, including Nike, are reportedly interested in partnering with Curry’s brand, though nothing has been confirmed yet.
