Jimmy Butler and Steph Curry quickly developed their chemistry on the court. In their first half-season together, they helped carry the Golden State Warriors to the semifinal round of the NBA playoffs. They have bonded well off the court, too.

A clip of Butler sporting a new hairstyle came out on Monday, prompting a priceless reaction from Curry.

Jimmy Butler said in the video:

“Be ready, man. Sept. 29th!”

Butler’s comments likely made the timeline of the video during the Warriors’ 2025 Media Day. The forward, playing in his 15th season, has been known to flaunt outlandish hairstyles during his stint with the Miami Heat.

In 2022, he showed up with dreadlocks to face reporters for the Heat Media Day. A year later, he came up with the “Emo Jimmy” look, one completed with nose piercing, painted nails and flowing straight hair.

Steph Curry only saw the long hair in the latest video, but he could not hold back his laughter.

Jimmy Butler led Warriors to blowout win over Indiana with Steph Curry on the bench

On Sunday, the Golden State Warriors faced the Indiana Pacers without Steph Curry, who is dealing with a groin injury. Although the Pacers are at the bottom of the NBA standings, the Warriors know very well they could not look past them. Indiana’s only win this season came at the expense of the Dubs, a 114-109 victory early this month.

Without the two-time MVP, the Warriors struggled in the opening half against a team missing several key players. Jimmy Butler carried the team in the second quarter to give the hosts a 48-41 halftime advantage.

Butler kept the Warriors ahead with seven points and two assists in the third quarter. The veteran forward eventually got help from the supporting cast in the final 12 minutes to take control of the game.

Steph Curry celebrated on the sidelines as Will Richard, Al Horford, Moses Moody and Brandin Podziemski stepped up to help Jimmy Butler. Golden State overwhelmed Indiana 39-18 in the final frame to cruise to a 114-83 win.
