I wouldn't be surprised if that happens in this case," another West GM said.Ja Morant, LaMelo Ball and Trae Young are all superstar guards for their franchises. However, they have not been at their best in the last few seasons and are on the trade radar. While Trae Young has been consistent with the Hawks, he has failed to lead the Hawks to a playoff appearance in the last two seasons.LaMelo Ball has experienced a similar fate as Young. The Hornets guard is one of the most exciting players to watch in the league because of his flashy moves and elite shooting skills. However, he has also failed to lead the Hornets to a postseason ever since he was drafted. LaMelo is also one of the most injury-prone players in the league. He hasa played only 14 games this season. The Hornets made their last playoff appearance in the 2015-16 season, where they lost 3-4 to the Miami Heat.Ja Morant had the most postseason success out of the guards above. He has led the Grizzlies to four playoff appearances since getting drafted. However, repeated injuries and suspensions have stripped the guard of crucial minutes on the floor.West executive believes the Grizzlies have to trade Ja MorantIn McMahon and Mark's article, one anonymous Western Conference team executive said that Memphis have no choice but to trade their star guard."I think Ja is the one who can maybe be saved," the anonymous West executive said.
