“Should be Ashamed,” Kendrick Perkins Grills Clippers After LeBron James, Austin Reaves Join Luka Doncic in Berating Them

Kendrick Perkins grilled the LA Clippers after the Luka Doncic, LeBron James and Austin Reaves combined their powers to destroy them. The LA Lakers secured a 135-118 win over the Clippers on Tuesday.

Doncic scored 43 points, collected nine rebounds and dished out 13 assists, while James finished with 25 points, six rebounds and six assists. Reaves continued his stellar form, notching 31 points, nine rebounds and three assists.

Kendrick Perkins was quite upset with the Clippers' performance. He vented out his frustrations in an X post on Wednesday.

"The Clippers should be ashamed of themselves. It’s bad enough that Luka eyes light up every time he sees them on the schedule… but for Reaves and Bron to give them that work as well. Is just crazy. At some point they gotta have some type of pride," he tweeted.

While the Lakers' three-headed monster offense ran wild on their neighbours, James Harden and Kawhi Leonard tried their best to be their team's saviors. The beard notched 29 points, five rebounds and nine assists but had five turnovers.

The Klaw, on the other hand, finished with 19 points. So far in the season, the Clippers (5-13) are going through a rough patch. They are in 13th place in the Western Conference standings.

Luka Doncic says he will pay Jaxson Hayes' fine following an altercation with Kris Dunn

Luka Doncic offered to pay the fine for Jaxson Hayes after the Lakers' big man had his back during an altercation with Kriss Dunn. He appreciated Hayes' gesture while speaking to a courtside reporter during a postgame interview.

"Everybody got each other’s back on this team. So, I appreciate him [Hayes], and I’ll pay his fine for sure," Doncic said.

In the game's fourth quarter, Kris Dunn shoved Luka Doncic while getting ready to grab a rebound. Doncic lost his balance from the shove, crashed into LeBron James' arm, and hit the ground.

After the incident, the Lakers star got up and confronted Dunn, who shoved the ball in the Lakers star's chest. Seeing the chippy exchange, Jaxson Hayes jumped in to help his teammate. He shoved Dunn on his back, which sent the Clippers guard away from Luka Doncic.

The officials and coaches rushed onto the scene to separate the stars as Dunn took a swing at Hayes that did not connect. After a review, both players were handed technical fouls.

Later, Dunn received a second technical for unsportsmanlike behaviour and was ejected from the game. As of now, the NBA has not announced the fine amount Jaxson Hayes has to pay. According to the league's rulebook, a player can be fined up to $50,000 for an on-court altercation.
