The Dubs needed a response after their 126-102 loss to the OKC Thunder on Tuesday. It certainly didn’t look like they'd make amends when they trailed by as many as 16 points in the contest.

But they turned things around in a manner they hope is a harbinger of things to come, mounting a stunning third-quarter comeback, which culminated in Curry scoring 22 points. The Warriors outscored the Spurs 43-28 in the third quarter to put them on course for a 125-120 win.

“7-6 is better than 6-7,” Curry said after the game, referring to the viral 6-7 trend that has been doing the rounds on social media.

Curry’s wife, Ayesha, reposted the clip on her IG story and wrote in the caption:

While the win was great, the schedule doesn’t get any easier for the Dubs, as they have four more games on the road, including another matchup with the Spurs on Friday.

Curry’s 46-point outing on Wednesday was his 43rd after turning 30 and his first this season.

If he produces more games like the one against the Spurs, it's a matter of when, not if, Curry breaks Jordan's record.
