NBA fans reacted to the LA Lakers assigning Bronny James to the G-League shortly after bringing him for the clash against the Dallas Mavericks. While the team decided to send Bronny to the South Bay Lakers, they have decided to keep rookie Adou Thiero for the clash against the New Orleans Pelicans.

On Nov. 25, earlier this week, the Lakers had recalled Bronny and the $6 million rookie (per Spotrac). Neither Bronny nor Thiero played in the contest.

"Rookies need to play games to develop and for the coach to see how they look and if they're playable. Adou getting 0 minutes isn't something I'm enjoying i hope he gets non garbage minutes vs the pels."

LeBron James opens up about Bronny James' growth

Bronny James is in his 2nd season in the NBA. While he continues to divide his playing time between his NBA and G-League team, the father of the Lakers player is happy with his son's development.

On Friday, during the latest episode of the Mind the Game podcast, Steve Nash asked the Lakers superstar about Bronny's development in his second season in the NBA.

"It's been great, not only as a father, but just as a student of the game, to see someone use what he was able to do last year in the G League, use that, get more comfortable, then go into Summer League, be even more comfortable, and when his time has been called this year just continue to feel good about it," James said.

Although Bronny James has made good progress since his rookie season, he has yet to get his desired minutes under JJ Redick. This season, he has played 11 games, and averaged 1.9 points, 0.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game while shooting 28.6% from the field.
