The Warriors made an 11-0 run early in the first quarter and jumped to a 17-13 lead after Steph Curry knocked down a three off a bounce pass from Draymond Green. Golden State didn't look back after that early run and extended the lead further as the Suns' offense struggled.

Devin Booker scored eight points after a slow start, but it wasn't enough to keep Phoenix's deficit under 10 points after the opening period. Handy productions from Quinten Post and Curry helped the Warriors take a 33-19 lead into the second quarter.

Moses Moody caught fire in the second quarter as his red-hot 3-point shooting continued. For the Suns, Collin Gillespie made back-to-back shots from deep, but despite his best efforts off the bench, Phoenix fell behind by 20 points during the period. At half time, the Warriors enjoyed a 68-49 advantage.

Devin Booker exploded in the third quarter and dropped 17 points to bring the Suns within striking distance. Jimmy Butler didn't start the second half for the Warriors and was ruled out with lower back soreness. The Warriors, who committed just four turnovers in the first half, turned the ball over seven times in the penultimate period. Despite that, the Dubs entered the final quarter with a 92-83 lead.

Curry started the fourth quarter and, along with Moses Moody, shouldered the offensive load to stretch the Warriors' lead to 19 points with a quick 8-0 run. Moody sizzled from deep throughout the course of the game, and his five 3-pointers off the bench played an instrumental role in Golden State's 118-107 win.
