The Philadelphia 76ers have provided major updates on stars Joel Embiid and Paul George in their latest injury report. Embiid is not on the list and will be available after missing Wednesday's 132-121 loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The former MVP was on a scheduled break on the second night of a back-to-back.

Embiid announced during the preseason that he won't be suiting up on two consecutive nights due to a nagging left knee injury he has battled since the 2023-24 season. The 76ers lost their third game in four outings after Embiid sat out against the Cavaliers.

Meanwhile, Paul George's season debut was delayed further as he continues his recovery from knee surgery. It was announced on Friday by 76ers coach Nick Nurse that the former All-Star will miss at least two more games, including Saturday's clash against Toronto, and will consult with doctors to assess his status.

The Philadelphia 76ers, however, received a positive update on second-year guard Jarred McCain, who was upgraded to available. The 2024 first-round pick is managing left thumb and left knee injuries.

McCain underwent surgery for a torn meniscus in December. In September, he had another setback after tearing a ligament in his right thumb, delaying his return to action.

McCain made his season debut on Tuesday against Chicago, but missed Wednesday night's game against Cleveland.

Dominick Barlow is on the same timeline as Paul George and will miss at least two games. The fourth-year forward has played only two games and has been out due to an elbow laceration. Barlow will also consult with surgeons to assess his recovery.
