Last Friday, news broke of Patrick Beverley getting arrested after his involvement in a "family violence" incident, as per Texas authorities. Now, additional reporting claims to shed more light on the situation.In a report published on Tuesday, TMZ Sports cited the probable cause affidavit as stating that Beverley's younger sister (a minor) had left a Texas home to see her boyfriend at a park "in the middle of the night without permission."When the sister arrived home, her mother Lisa reportedly told her to go to her room. Lisa then asked her "to call the boyfriend and tell him to pick her up." She claims Beverley then laid her on the sofa, stood on top of her and punched her ‘approximately one time on her left eye with a closed fist.’ The sister added Beverley made a comment that ‘he will be the family relative to kill her.’”According to the TMZ report, Beverley proceeded to commit acts of violence against his sister.
