The Warriors were looking to become the second team to beat the Thunder this season and snap their 12-game win streak.Coach Steve Kerr continued to make adjustments to his starting five, with Steph Curry still out with a minor injury. Kerr used a lineup featuring Brandin Podziemski, Moses Moody, Will Richard, Jimmy Butler III and Draymond Green.Meanwhile, coach Mark Daigneault also had to make some modifications to his starting lineup due to injuries to Lu Dort and Isaiah Hartenstein. Daigneault matched Kerr's small ball five with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Ajay Mitchell, Cason Wallace, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren. The first quarter was tight, though the Thunder were clearly the better team. The second quarter was the same story until a late surge by the defending champs gave themselves a 19-point lead at halftime. It went from bad to worse for the Warriors after Jimmy Butler was ruled out for the second half due to discomfort. Butler had a hard fall in their previous game and was initially tagged as questionable before Tuesday's contest. In the third quarter, the Warriors made their famed rally to make things more interesting. The bench mob led by Pat Spencer had the Thunder reeling midway through the final period. However, the defending champions showed why they are a different team this season. It looked like they were just playing possum on the Warriors and took over in the final three minutes of the game to get the 12-point victory.
