Wallace exited the quarterfinal game against the Phoenix Suns after taking a brutal hit on a Mark Williams screen. He exited the game in pain and didn't play any part in the second half of the contest, finishing with nine points, four rebounds, two assists and four steals in 19 minutes.

Luckily for the Thunder, Wallace, who is one of the contenders for the NBA Defensive Player of the Year award, didn't suffer a serious injury. His presence on the court will be crucial for the Thunder as they will be up against lightning-fast guards like De'Aaron Fox and Dylan Harper.
