The reigning league MVP's absence was the first of the ongoing season. His availability for the knockout game provides a huge boost to OKC's chances of advancing to the semifinals. The Thunder talisman is averaging 32.8 points per game on 55.6% shooting, including 44.3% from beyond the arc.

Alex Caruso and Lu Dort, who are two of the Thunder's biggest defensive weapons, will return to action after missing multiple games. Caruso missed the last four games due to a right quadriceps contusion, while Dort was sidelined for three games with a right adductor strain.

Dort will slot directly into the starting lineup and share the backcourt with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Caruso will continue to anchor the team's defence from the bench, while also utilising his size and underrated athleticism to score points.
