The OKC Thunder can't seem to catch a break with injuries. Ahead of their NBA Cup showdown against the Sacramento Kings on Friday, the Thunder listed six players on the injury report. The silver lining, however, is that Chet Holmgren and Alex Caruso have both been cleared to play after sitting out the previous game.

Lu Dort is listed as "questionable" owing to an upper trap strain. The defensive stalwart missed the previous game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday. In his absence, the Thunder suffered their first defeat of the season, which brought an end to an eight-game win streak.

Meanwhile, Aaron Wiggins made the injury report for the first time this season. The 6-foot-5 former Maryland forward is ruled out owing to an adductor strain. His unavailability is a huge blow for OKC as the talented youngster is in the midst of his best-ever start to a season. Wiggins is averaging a career-high 14.8 points per game on 45.9% shooting, including 41.7% from deep.

The Thunder continue to be without Jalen Williams, Nikola Topic, Kenrich Williams and Thomas Sorber. Jalen Williams is out with a wrist injury, Topic is sidelined with a testicular surgery, Kenrich Williams is nursing a knee injury, and Sorber is out with a torn ACL.

The Thunder already matched up against the Kings earlier in October. In that game, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dropped 31 points and led OKC to a 107-101 win at home.
