LeBron James has labeled his 2018 season at the Cleveland Cavaliers as the peak of his career. The Lakers superstar made the big revelation on Tuesday's episode of the "Mind the Game" podcast during a fan Q&A segment.

"What I feel like was my best season that I has where I felt the most complete as a basketball player, I would say 2017-18 season," James said. "I felt like I could do no wrong on the basketball floor."

"Offensively, defensively, I felt no flaws in my game. I felt like everytime I stepped out on the floor, I can do everything I wanted to do."

Later, James said that he still felt the same way, but that specific season, he it felt to him like his game reached another level. In the 2017-18 season, the then-Cavaliers superstar averaged 27.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 9.1 assists on 54.2% shooting from the field.

While James believes that he was at his all-time best at the Cavs, some fans would argue that the now-Lakers star was at the peak of his powers at the Miami Heat as he won his first two championships there.

LeBron James' best season in Miami, arguably, was the 2011-12 season. He averaged 27.1 points, 7.9 rebounds and 6.2 assists on 53.1% shooting. It was the season that he won his first NBA championship.

Later in the episode, one fan asked LeBron James to describe Derrick Rose before the Bulls icon succumbed to injuries. The Lakers superstar showered great praise on D-Rose in his answer. (Timestamp: 4:18)

"I hope dearly people have not forgot about Derrick Rose. One of the most explosive players I have ever played. One of the most competitive players I have ever played," James said.
"What he meant for the Chicago Bulls, he meant even more for the city of Chiago in whole. He is a legend, he is a great and we all love Derrick Rose."

The Lakers star highlighted that D-Rose is the youngest MVP in the NBA. Later, LeBron James said that Rose was a great example of players who were once great but were ruined later by injuries. He claimed that no one in the league would have anything bad to say about the former Chicago Bull star.
