Nothing comes as a surprise when it comes to Nikola Jokic, but the latest record alluded to the Denver Nuggets superstar is surprising, even by his standards. In the last four seasons, Joker has won three MVP awards, a rare feat since LeBron James' prime era.

However, Jokic's latest feat is unprecedented. According to Basketball Reference, the Nuggets' All-Star player has now led the league in four of the five major categories in the last decade, including the playoffs.

Before Thursday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans, Jokic was already leading the league in total rebounds and steals in the last decade. After a 28-point and 12-assist performance, he surpassed Jayson Tatum in points and Trae Young in assists to lead in total in four major categories.

This feat has never been achieved in NBA history, and it perhaps solidifies Joker's status as the most complete player in the league's history. Before Nikola Jokic, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar held the record by leading in 3 of the 5 major statistical categories.

After Thursday's game, Jokic now has a total of 13,242 points, 6,030 rebounds, 4,326 assists and 703 steals. Since his first MVP season in 2020-21, Nikola Jokic has averaged at least 24 points, 10.8 rebounds and 8.0 assists.

Despite his three MVP seasons, Jokic has never led the league in either of those categories, except this season.

DeAndre Jordan reveals what makes Nikola Jokic so great

Nikola Jokic is the greatest player of his generation. No player has dominated the league like Jokic since LeBron James, and he is barely stopping anytime soon. He's truly one of a kind and a generational player, and DeAndre Jordan best put what made Jokic such a great superstar, apart from his love for horses.

"His IQ is off the charts. He lets the game come to him. You can't speed him up. I think that's like a big advantage to a player like him," Jordan said during his appearance on the "All The Smoke" podcast.

The Nuggets player also explained what made Nikola Jokic as dangerous as players like prime LeBron James.

"He can score on all three levels. He can score in the post, floater, elbow. He can shoot the 3, and if not, you close him out, and he drives right by you."

In his 11th season, Jokic is leading in the league in both assists [11.1] and rebounds [13.2] categories. He is 7th in the league in points per game [29.1].
