New York Knicks vs. Toronto Raptors Game Summary

Coach Mike Brown made one change to their starting lineup from their earlier meeting against the Raptors. Brown's starting five featured Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, Josh Hart, OG Anunoby and Karl-Anthony Towns. Anunoby wasn't healthy when the Knicks faced his former team on Nov. 30.

Meanwhile, coach Darko Rajakovic continued to mix things up because of injuries. The Raptors were still without RJ Barrett, while Immanuel Quickley was ruled out due to illness. Rajakovic's starting lineup consisted of Jamal Shead, Ochai Agbaji, Brandon Ingram, Scottie Barnes and Jakob Poeltl.

The first quarter was pretty tight, with the Toronto Raptors controlling the game more than the New York Knicks. However, things went south for the Raptors in the second quarter after the Knicks outscored them 34-13, essentially putting the game out of reach.

The Raptors tried to make a comeback in the third and fourth quarters, but it was always thwarted by the Knicks. Jalen Brunson was nearly unstoppable in the second quarter, while Karl-Anthony Towns dominated the boards.

If the Knicks would want to advance to the NBA Cup Final, they will need to bring the same defensive intesity against the Orlando Magic.
