The New York Knicks are going to the 2025 Emirates NBA Cup Final after beating the Orlando Magic 132-120 on Saturday in Las Vegas. Jalen Brunson led the way with 40 points, four rebounds and eight assists on 16-for-27 shooting from the field.

Karl-Anthony Towns had 29 points and eight rebounds, while OG Anunoby added 24 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals. Mikal Bridges put up 16 points, three rebounds and three assists, and Josh Hart contributed 12 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals.

Meanwhile, Jalen Suggs had a team high 26 points and six assists, while Paolo Banchero scored 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Desmond Bane added 16 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, with Wendell Carter Jr. getting 14 points, six rebounds and four steals.

The 2025 Emirates NBA Cup are in Las Vegas for the semifinals, with the New York Knicks and Orlando Magic vying to represent the Eastern Conference. The winner of this game would face the winner of the OKC Thunder-San Antonio Spurs matchup in the NBA Cup Final.

Coach Mike Brown didn't make any changes to his starting five, which has been very successful of late. His lineup consisted of Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, Josh Hard, OG Anunoby and Karl-Anthony Towns.

Meanwhile, coach Jamahl Mosley had to use different starting lineup than his usual one due to Franz Wagner's injury. His starting five feautured Jalen Suggs, Desmond Bane, Anthony Black, Paolo Banchero and Wendell Carter Jr.

Things were close between the Knicks and Magic in the first quarter, with Orlando earning a 36-33 lead after the first 12 minutes. The Knicks took control of the game in the second period, outscoring the Magic 38-28.

Orlando wasn't going down easily and even regained the lead midway through the third quarter. The Knicks remained composed and got the lead back, with Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns taking over.

In the fourth quarter, the Magic didn't play bad offensively but they barely got any stops and didn't prevent the Knicks from scoring. They went basket-for-basket as New York earned a chance for silverware.

The 2025 Emirates NBA Cup final is scheduled for Dec. 16 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
