The first quarter was a close encounter, with the Knicks holding a precarious 27-24 lead at the end of the opening 12 minutes. Jalen Brunson and Norman Powell had a solid start, scoring six points and eight points, respectively. In the second quarter, Mikal Bridges got himself into double digits while Bam Adebayo got even more aggressive, earning multiple trips to the foul line.

Miami was able to snatch the lead by halftime, when they pulled ahead 57-54. In the third quarter, both teams remained hot on offense, but the Heat was able to create even more separation.
