The matchup between the Knicks and Mavericks is a fascinating battle as New York has been an abysmal road team, while the Mavericks have struggled in their own backyard. The Knicks are yet to win a game on the road, having lost all four contests. The Mavericks have lost seven of their 10 home games so far.

Despite being a bad road team, New York sits in fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings with an 8-5 record. The matchup against a struggling and injury-depleted Mavericks offers a golden chance for the Knicks to win their first game on the road this season.
