Zion Williamson will not suit up for the New Orleans Pelicans during their game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. The former Duke superstar missed the previous game owing to left hamstring injury management. He was initially not on the Pelicans' injury report but was later ruled out for at least three weeks with a right adductor injury.

The Pelicans seem destined to be a lottery team this season as they continue to slump into a deeper hole with every passing week. Zion Williamson and his brigade have the worst record (3-18), having lost nine of their last 10 games. The franchise has struggled at home (2-9) and also away (1-9) as time continues to run out at the rate of knots for them to salvage the season.
